The room was clean with a well-maintained bathroom.
The check-in process was infuriating. We had to go to Hostal Lisbra to start. Needing to go to Lisbra for minor requests like a hairdryer when you're damp is absurd.

Modern accommodation with magnificent setting just next door to Hostal Prado and various restaurants. Plenty of goodies for breakfast. Good sized and newly decorated rooms with comfortable beds, powerful hot shower, as example:)))
No elevator at all.

Had a solid stay at Hostal Prado! Rooms were super clean, and I loved how close it was to major sights. Just be ready for a little cardio-no elevator and two flights of stairs to climb. A great value for the price!

I booked a room with a big bed, central heating, a private safe, and multi-channel television. The bathroom was clean, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The location close to everything was marvellous. I had just perfect days staying at this brand-new hotel.

The location is very central and the price was good when I booked. The in-room wi-fi was free and relatively good. The bed was comfortable. Policy to only change the towels every two days (good for environment!)
There is no reception at the hostel, so you have to check in and out at another hostel nearby which is quite inconvenient. This also meant, with no staff there, that a large group also staying at the hostel ran riot, shouting, slamming doors and smoking. The walls are very thin and I got very little sleep. Other negatives are that the shower head kept sliding down the pole, the extractor fan was very loud and on a timer set off by turning on the light (which meant you had to chose between turning on the bathroom light or listening to the fan for 10 minutes), and the bedside lamps were absurd. The in-room safe cost one euro every time you opened it.The in-room information said the towels would be changed every two days (good I think), yet someone still entered my room to make my bed (unnecessary and not good!). There was nothing to put on the door to say I didn't want my room made up.

Our request for a quiet room was met in full. The room was modern, comfortable and functional and in an ideal location for enjoying the local nightlife. It was very useful to be able to leave bags in secure lockers on the day of checkout.

Comfortable beds, clean room, great location, with the added bonus of air conditioning and free wi-fi, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring, especially since it is just a 5-minute walk from the nearest metro station.

Totally recommend this hostel for a stay in Madrid. It has a great location (just 3 min from Puerta del Sol), the rooms are very nice and with a low price. It's very good for big groups as they have rooms for 4!
The reception of the hostel is in another hostel (just 2-3 min far away). The staff of the reception don't give you a lot of help on locations to visit in the city. The bathrooms are very modern, but the doors are in glass and don't give a lot of privacy.

The quality for the money was excellent although the rooms were a bit small. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was nice.
We stayed in room 206 which is the closest to the hotel main front door. I would avoid this room next time as people were letting the door slam on their way in or out and that woke us up a few times during the night.
